Our high passion and artistry for tea production provided us with opportunities to receive a variety of awards. Especially, the Agricultural Minister Award and the Prime Minister Award, as they are the most prestigious awards for tea producers in Japan. We are proud of the many awards we have received, however, the more important thing is that our customers are satisfied with the taste and quality of our tea.

2008 The Best Blended/Flavored Green Tea at the World Tea Championship
1986 1st Place of Shizuoka-prefecture(*) Tea Contest & Agricultural Minister Award
By winning the prefecture tea contest, Sugimoto Seicha received the Agricultural Minister Award. That was a great achievement in their company history.
1986 National Champion of Tea's Blind-Tasting Competition & Agricultural Minister Award
The tea's blind-tasting competition is the most dignified competition for the tea experts. Hiroyuki Sugimoto won the competition out of thousands of entrants and named the best tea expert of the year in 1986.
* Shizuoka-prefecture: Shizuoka is the tea capital in Japan. It has a long tea history, and almost half of the tea in Japan is produced in the area. The number of farmers and tea related business as in Shizuoka is more than one third of the national total. Therefore, there are many contests and awards related to tea in Shizuoka, and these awards are nationally recognized as evidence of tea quality.

1997 Presentation of Temomi-tea to the Japanese Imperial Palace
Because of high artistry, she was given a chance to present the Temomi tea to the Imperial Palace. She showed her technique without stint and perfectly presented her beautiful Temomi tea to the Emperor.

2007 Governor Award of Shizuoka-prefecture Tea Contest & Agricultural Minister Award
By winning prefecture tea contest, Fuji-Toh received the Agricultural Minister Award. The number of farmers in Shizuoka prefecture was about 40,000 in 2007.
1990 Won Tea Farmers' Management Contest in Shizuoka-prefecture & Prime Minister Award
By winning the management contest two years in a row, Fuji-Toh received the Prime Minister Award. The Prime Minister Award is intended for any agricultural commodity, not only for tea. Therefore it's not too much to say that Fuji-Toh was the best farmer of the year in 1990 in Japan.
1989 Won Tea Farmers' Management Contest in Shizuoka-prefecture & Agricultural Minister Award
Management contest evaluated farmers' management conditions and tea quality over several years and selected Fuji-Toh as the best tea farmer in the prefecture. By winning the contest, Fuji-Toh also received the Agricultural Minister Award.
1986 Agricultural Administrator Award of Kanto Region
Kanto region includes 7 prefectures, Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Gunma. In 1986, Fuji-Toh joined the Kanto region tea contest and received the award.
1985 1st Place of Shizuoka-prefecture Tea Contest & Agricultural Minister Award
By winning the prefecture tea contest, Fuji-Toh received the Agricultural Minister Award. There were more than 60,000 farmers in Shizuoka in 1985.
1983 1st Place of Japan's Best Tea Contest & Agricultural Minister Award
By winning the national tea contest, Fuji-Toh received the Agricultural Minister Award. There were more than 600,000 tea farmers in Japan, and Fuji-Toh was selected as the best tea farmer in Japan.
1980-1981 Agricultural Minister Award (Horticulture Department)
Among thousands of tea farms in Japan, Fuji-Toh was selected as one of the best farms of the year.
