Roasted rice, sencha green tea leaves, and matcha come together in this blend to create a brilliant green cup of nutty, toasty genmaicha goodness. Spring and early summer leaves provide a hint of grassiness, while the matcha supplies a smooth, creamy umami. Our Matcha Genmaicha has half the leaves of our sencha and therefore half the caffeine, meaning you can peacefully enjoy all 3 steepings anytime of day.

This is some of the best I've ever had.

Nice Combo with Matcha

By far the best! I have ordered from many places. This is my favorite! I drink this every day.

Wonderful Flavor!

I (Japanese) and my husband (American) always have green tea after lunch and dinner, and we often switch kinds of tea from day to day. This is my husbands favorite! It has a mild, smooth flavor with a rich nutty sweetness. And the matcha makes the color of the tea a beautiful deep green.

Excellent daytime tea

This is my go-to tea throughout the work day. I am able to get two steeps and the flavor is so fresh. I have been drinking this tea for years since I discovered it at our local Japan Fest. I cannot wait to try other Sugimoto blends.

Wonderful Matcha Genmaicha

5 stars! I am a serious Genmai green tea drinker, and this is the best I have ever found. I have been buying from Sugimoto USA since 2012. I have tried other brands, but I always come back to this. I like both the regular Genmaicha and with Matcha. The flavor is wonderful and rich, with the nutty overtones from the toasted rice. Just delicious! (I am also a fan of their Kukicha.) I buy the loose tea regularly, and also purchase their Genmai tea bags for use when I travel. Good product!
