Organic Kabusecha

I love to cold brew my tea. I'll say that for these leaves it's very important to cold brew unconstrained and without a strainer if you don't want your tea on the bitter side. It oddly enough makes a huge difference even if the strainer is particularly large. This tea is great value for what you get. While there are slightly higher end teas out there they get pretty hefty in price, especially for a daily brew. Also many other high end teas use too much pesticide but this one is organic so that helps.

This is the best Japanese green tea I have tried thus far. The flavor sits perfectly between a Gyokuro and regular Sencha.

From the first taste I could quickly tell this is a high quality tea. It has wonderful umami flavor and is so aromatic!

One of my favorite teas!

Rich and refreshing. Can be steeped multiple times thanks to high umami content. I follow recommended water temperature and brewing time for the first cup, and use higher temperature and longer steeping time for the second and third.
