Many, many thanks to everyone who came to this year’s Northwest Tea Festival!  We had such a wonderful time meeting our tea friends and making new ones. Some people even traveled all the way from the east coast!  This year we introduced our Organic Matcha and demonstrated how to prepare it with a Chawan and Chasen. We hope that everyone learned Matcha is something you can enjoy at home. We also gave a presentation on how sustainable farming practices in our homeland of Shizuoka, Japan have recently been recognized by the United Nations.

We would like to thank the organizers and all the volunteers who made this a successful event. We hope to see you next year!
