How to Make the Matcha Strawberry Fruits Sandwich


  • 2 Slices of Bread (Shokupan) 
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Organic Daily Matcha Powder
  • ¾ tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 large fresh strawberries
  • 8 cubes fresh pineapples
Step 1: Wash 5 large strawberries and pat dry with paper towel then set aside.
Step 2: Cut the fresh pineapple into 8 cubes then set aside.
Step 3: In a bowl, combine heavy cream, matcha powder, powdered sugar and vanilla extract and whisk until we see firm peaks.
Step 4: Lay out 2 slices of bread onto a cutting board.
Step 5: Spread about ⅓ of the whipped matcha cream onto each slice of bread.
Step 6: On one slice of bread, place the strawberries in each corner and the center, place the pineapple between the strawberries.
Step 7: Fill in any gaps with the remaining matcha cream, slightly covering the strawberries and pineapples making a flat surface.
Step 8: Place the other slice of bread with matcha cream, flip to enclose the sandwich.
Step 9: Make a note of the position of the strawberries so that you know which way to cut.
Step 10: Wrap the sandwich with plastic wrap, then cool the cream in the refrigerator for an hour.
Step 11: Remove the plastic wrap, trim off the edges with a serrated knife, cleaning the knife in between cuts.
Step 12: Cut the sandwich in half diagonally (or into quarters).
Step 13: Ready to serve.
