"Homare" means "Pride" and is one of the Sugimoto family’s most premium teas, made entirely from the best of the best spring harvest Yabukita leaves grown in southwestern Shizuoka. This unique fukamushi style sencha is reminiscent of green beans and asparagus, rich and brothy with a striking spring sweetness. A legendary Sencha - my desert island tea!

I love everything about Sugimoto Reserve Homare Sencha. I’ve been cold brewing two cold brews in the Hario Cold Brew Bottle, with sliced fresh strawberries, every day. The second brew may be better than the first. Much more testing is needed ? A really refreshing treat on a hot summer day. It is of course amazing as a hot-brewed Sencha too! Love it!
